I’m 23, never dated, still single, and a Christian…I feel like there’s nobody out there for me.?
By | December 19, 2009
I know I shouldn’t be impatient and I DO trust God, but it’s hard waiting. I have never had a relationship and I get frustrated sometimes. I guess I just want maybe a little story about how you waited for the one God had for you…you know….how you met…was the dating part fun or awkward?…I just need a little encouragement in my time of waiting for the right one!? Please share your story with me!
Thanks!
I know how you feel. It is super hard waiting for somebody special. I am 30 years old and still haven’t found him yet. I’m still waiting for him…you can do it too! Don’t settle for anything less than somebody who will love and treasure you and be your soulmate! God wants us to be happy…maybe there is a reason you are waiting. Maybe the one who’s right for you needs some more life experiences before they are ready for you. I believe God has a reason for everything. Don’t worry, enjoy your life, find fulfillment in developing your mind and your talents, and the waiting time can be fun.

I’m 25, christian, I’ve dated a couple times, but nothing ever beyond a second date, so I’ve never had a GF, never even kissed a girl. And none of this is from a lack of trying. I know several other guys like myself as well. As a woman, you’ll find a lot of guys looking for someone like you, so I don’t think you have much to worry about.

I can 100% relate to you. You know why? Because i was 23 when i first met my boyfriend. He is the only person I’ve ever dated! I felt the same way but I listened when everyone told me to wait on God and to keep praying. My whole family is christian and they didn’t want me–and neither did i–to end up with the wrong person! Keep up the good work and i’ll be praying God sends you that special someone!

when i was 18 i was the same, id hadn’t even had my 1st kiss, then one night at a friends party i meet this guy, not much of a looker but we talked for 8 hours Straight, just the 2 of us. i felt such a connection. we meet a few more times and in the end he asked me out. dating him was so fun and easy, like we had known each Other for years. now 6 years down the line were getting married. god has that perfect person for you, hes just trying to set up the perfect moment for you to meet so you ll have something to tell the grand kids, hehe
