FOB said there were rumors they were quitting, but that they weren’t. Patrick’s most likely just putting out a solo album for fun. Rob Thomas did it, and he’s still in Matchbox Twenty. so no, FOB is NOT breaking up.

the possible chance of Fall Out Boy breaking up is sad. But like that one person said its good just to cherish what they already made and just wait to see what happens, I’m a big FallOutBoy fan and would hate to see them gone for good, but if it does happen its there decision and we shouldn’t force them into doing something they don’t wanna do.

personally i agree what would we rather have music that wont be as good because they are not enjoying it or just cherish the moments and music we all ready have? , yes we are upset about it i cried when i first heard but if they are not happy why should they continue to be unhappy to please us? they are still going to be around with the older stuff and face it that stuff is amazing ! lets just cherish that and hope that things sort out

I love Fall Out Boy and to me they will live on forever. But I read somewhere that Pete they didn’t break up offically, just that they’re taking a break for the time being. So I think if you wait a year or two they will probably come back.

I love FOB with all …
I love FOB with all my heart and have for the last couple of year, I just personally think that it is a good time for the four of them to take a break from the band and focus on something they wanna do, like Pete with his new family and Decay Dance and Patrick with his solo album. I think that we shouldnt pester the guys with FOB when they are on this break… they need the rest from the band and maybe each other aswell…

A few years ago I hated all new music,becAuse I thought it was all rap and hip hop etc.then I heard a FOB song and loved it.This made me listen to rock,metal and other pop punk bands and I realized that classical and old rock isn’t the only good music.FOB got me into some of the best music i’ve ever heard and I thank them for that.now they’ve broke up and A7X’s The Rev has passed away(RIP)
